Our past Congregation Beth El retreats have been very successful, so we are once again celebrating Shabbat “off the grid.” We hope you will join us June 16-18, 2023 at Camp Nah-Jee-Wah in the Poconos.
The camp facility is fully kosher and we will take advantage of their outdoor amphitheater, athletic fields, swimming pools, high and low ropes courses, and the lakefront.
“We can’t wait to spend a weekend at camp with Beth El. It’s like re-living our youth with all the fun parts of sleepaway camp, but even better because we get to share it with our kids and our friends. As adults, it’s also the most fun way to make new friends that we’ll continue to run into back home at Beth El.” – Jessica Fox
“It was truly an incredible experience to ‘go to camp’ with our community for the weekend. My kids still talk about the campfire and karaoke on Saturday night!” – Lisa Buber
“We loved the inaugural retreat. The outdoor Shabbat services together, eating Shabbat dinner as a community, sleeping in a bunk as a family. All the activities from ropes course, art, archery and the Saturday night bonfire were amazing. We can’t wait to go back!” – Yuval Brokman
