Beth El’s Hevra Kadisha (Burial Society) is leading a series of gatherings to spark meaningful conversations in our community around death and mourning. This first event is “Death Over Dinner,” a program to help us hold difficult and crucial conversations around end of life decisions, death rituals, and what happens after we die. The format is simple: Invite guests over for dinner. Use conversation cards to guide your experience. Allow yourselves at least 1.5-2 hours for the conversation. If Shabbat dinner is not your ideal time, you can hold your gathering of any type at any time you prefer. Watch this video to learn more about Death Over Dinner.
