Please join us in celebrating the 10th anniversary of our beloved Mini Minyan leader, Ira Levin! As a tribute to the incredible impact Ira has had on our children and congregation, we are organizing a special Shabbat morning service to celebrate him on June 10. Ira has been instrumental in creating a joyful and welcoming environment for our youngest congregants and their parents to learn about Jewish values and traditions, engage in song and prayer, and feel a sense of belonging. Join us in expressing our gratitude and appreciation for Ira’s unwavering service to our children and community.
Ira’s 10 Year Celebration on June 10
Join us on Shabbat morning where Ira will receive an aliyah to the Torah and be presented with gifts from the congregation. Children will be invited to stand with Ira and join in singing the Mini Minyan favorite Ma Tovu.
Tell Ira how much your family loves and appreciates him by submitting a note or children’s artwork to be included in a Memory Book we will give him on June 10. Hard copy submissions should be on paper 8×11 or smaller and can be dropped off in the designated boxes in our lobbies by Sunday, May 21. You can also submit a note electronically here.
Beth El is a committed partner of the Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges. In honor of Ira, we will be collecting kid-friendly snacks for the IFPO. Please drop off donations of single serve snacks in the designated boxes in our lobbies by Sunday, May 21.
