Jewish Newark Tour with Sam Convissor

Our own Sam Convissor is an authority on Newark and will be sharing his knowledge of the city’s rich Jewish history during a talk at Beth El on Thursday, November 30 at 8 p.m. to be followed by a tour of Newark on Sunday, December 3 which will depart at 9:30 a.m. from Beth El after morning minyan. Sam is a native of Newark, attended school there, and even led the Newark Central High School basketball team to the state championship! Men’s Club will organize van transportation. So that we can reserve a van that will accommodate all who plan to join us, please sign up for the tour by November 26. A charitable donation of $18 to the Morning Minyan Fund in honor of Sam is suggested.
