Rabbi Jehiel Orenstein Memorial Lecture – “A Brief History of Chutzpah”

June 7 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

In the face of generations of persecution and oppression, the Jewish People never lost faith in the human capacity to reshape the world and never gave up their responsibility to realize a divine dream for humanity. This deep theme runs through all of Jewish history and enabled Jews to live with purpose and dignity in every circumstance. This is real chutzpah, the driving power of Jewish life.

Following the lecture there will be a Q&A.
