Congregation Beth El will join with communities across MetroWest to raise awareness around partner abuse on this Shabbat. This issue has been called a “pandemic within a pandemic” as many have been isolated and confined to their homes. Rabbi Marder, who prior to rabbinical school served as a community educator for Shalom Bayit (hyperlink https://www.shalom-bayit.org), will lead a service at 6:15 followed by a text study and discussion at 6:45. The Rachel Coalition, a division of Jewish Family Service of MetroWest, provides a variety of services to assist victims of domestic violence and those living in high conflict households.
