Reverse Tashlich (Rain or Shine)

September 12, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Beth El Social Action Committee in partnership with Bat Mitzvah student Ella Kohol, the Meadowland Park Conservancy, and Repair the Sea are hosting a Reverse Tashlich.
Traditionally over High Holidays we perform the ritual of tashlich, throwing bread crumbs into a body of water to symbolize our casting away of our transgressions from the past year. Performing a “Reverse Tashlich” means we will help clean up a body of water instead.
Gather at the East Branch Rahway River that runs through Meadowland Park in South Orange. We will meet on Meadowbrook Place and Clark Street.
A waiver is required and can be filled out on site. This event is for ages 4 and up.
