Karel Baracs, “The Storyteller of Amsterdam,” will perform his one-man play Why Tram 8 No Longer Runs – bringing to life his home town during the Nazi occupation (1940-1945) and the persecution of the Jews. He performs his tales in both Dutch and English for audiences young and old from Amsterdam to London, from Anvers to Budapest. Karel Baracs, the Storyteller, will attend breakfast with Morning Minyan on May 31. Anyone interested in meeting him is welcome to join at 8:30am.
