Enjoy all-night Torah study with a diverse array of learning sessions and frequent noshing.
Kick off the night with a dairy dinner at 7:00 and 8:00 lecture with our key-note speaker, Rabbi David Ellenson, former president of Hebrew Union College, about Jewish teachings on conversion.
Learn with this fantastic array of Beth El members throughout the night: Sarah Brokman, Shayne Cytrynbaum, Hannah Ellenson, Andy Fair, David Mallach, David Riemenschneider, Avi Siegel, Bob Sherman, and Yoelish Steinberg.
We’ll continue our tradition of ending the night with Rabbi Olitzky’s Belgian Waffles and an early morning minyan. Sign up now for free Thu night dinner.

Shavuot Program for Families (K-5)
Thu, May 25, 4:30pm
Come together on Erev Shavuot for an artistic journey through revelation. We’ll begin with a Shavuot skit performed by our 3rd grade class, and continue with a theatrical reading of the revelation at Mt. Sinai, using our senses to imagine what it was like to receive the Torah. Inspired by these skit and reading, families create their own artistic idea of the experience of being at Mt. Sinai. We’ll end our creative evening by feasting on dairy treats.

Shavuot Sleepover
Thu, May 25, 7:00pm – Fri, May 26, 8:30am
While our Beth El community will be having a tikkun all night long, we will have special sessions and lots of fun! We will then have a sleepover in the lower level! We will learn together, eat and make yummy dairy desserts and have fun! This event is for 6th-9th graders. Older students can reach out to Talia if interested. Email Talia to RSVP.

Shavuot Services
Fri, May 26 and Sat, May 27, 9:30am
We’ll read the Ten Commandments from Exodus 19-20 and from Megillat Ruth on the 1st day of Shavuot and hold Yizkor services on the 2nd day at around 11:00am. Ira Levin will lead Mini Minyan in the Chapel on both days. We’ll enjoy Kiddush lunch following services.
