Curriculum Highlights
The TLT program draws from Moving Traditions, teen interests, and the annual theme inspired by the teen trip. The curriculum focuses on Jewish leadership, integrating text study, values, and social programming. Key topics and activities include: feeding the hungry, caring for the Earth, what it means to be a leader, the power of speech, resume building, and more.
Capstone Project
In 11th grade, participants who have been in the program for at least two years will embark on a capstone project. This includes helping to plan the teen trip, selecting themes and locations, and creating learning sessions for the trip. Completing the capstone earns a discount on the teen trip.
Additional Opportunities
Teens who participate in TLT are eligible to be a part of our Madrichim program. Madrichim are teachers assistants in our JLC and gain valuable experience working. Teens who attend more than nine sessions annually will advance on the pay scale the following year. Makeup sessions are available through social programs, the teen trip, the Interfaith Holocaust event, and other approved activities.
Join us in this enriching experience, designed to empower and inspire the next generation of Jewish leaders!
