They Ain’t Ready For Me is the story of Tamar Manasseh, the African American woman who is leading the fight against senseless killings on the south side of Chicago.
The film, inspired and directed by Brad Rothschild (a local Schechter/GOA grad) explores the challenges and motivations of this fearless community leader as she works to prevent neighborhood gun violence.
Tamar, a rabbinical student with a magnetic personality, brings the community together in acts of tikkun olam.
If you would like to view the movie and attend the conversation, please RSVP to Rabbi Marder.
Join us via Zoom on Sunday, February 28th at 8:00 PM, for a conversation with Tamar and Brad.
