As we welcome in Shabbat tonight, we are aware that the light of the Jewish people is diminished after the murder of the six hostages. This week, and any week until the hostages have come home, consider lighting an extra candle alongside your Shabbat candles. Add in your personal prayers and/or the words of Acheinu as we pray for the return of the hostages and for peace
