Programs for Little Ones

Click here to register for childcare. Please ensure that
your child has a water bottle, lunch, change of clothes,
diapers, and wipes if needed. Label all items that you bring.
The morning will include fun activities, story time, playtime,
and Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur adventures. Please note
that childcare does not have a scheduled naptime.
Our Thelma K. Reisman teachers will serve as our loving
and attentive childcare staff.

Tickets: All members were mailed tickets last week. Please bring your tickets with you over the holidays to enter the building. Children under age 23 do not need a ticket. If you would like to acquire tickets for visiting family, click here. If your visiting family are members of another congregation, please call the Beth El office at 973-763-0111 to apply for reciprocity tickets.

Parking: The Beth El parking lot over the holidays is open only to those for whom walking from farther away from the building would be difficult. Please call the Beth El office at 973-763-0111 to reserve a parking spot during services. Members and their guests are welcome to park on side streets including Killburn, Prospect, & Irvington Ave.

Program for Elementary Ages (K-4)

PROGRAMS FOR K – Fourth Grade

  • Our Family Service is called Beiteinu (Our Home), for families with children in K-4th grade. We are excited that Hannah Reikes, an engaging and enthusiastic educator, will be leading Beiteinu.
  • Beginning at 11:00am, you may drop off your child(ren) at the
    check-in table upstairs across from the elevator. Send your child
    with a water bottle and if necessary, a change of clothes. Please
    label all items that you bring. Madrichim (assistant teachers) will
    walk children to their classroom. This program starts directly
    following Beitenu (Family Service). Led by Education Director
    Nomi Kornfeld. Click here to register.

 

Teen Programming

Middle School and Teen Program: Services and social action projects for 5th-12th graders during all services. Participants will join in the social action projects listed below.

Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret and Simhat Torah

Sukkot begins Friday evening, September 29 and ends Friday, October 6. Click here to order your lulav and etrog by September 22.  Sukkot services will be held on the first two days of Sukkot, September 29 and 30 at 9:30 am. Register here for Sukkot Across Beth El.

Shemini Atzeret is on Saturday, October 7 and services will begin at 9:30 am with Yizkor services at approximately 11 am. Our Simhat Torah celebration will be held at Beth El Saturday evening, October 7 and Sunday, October 8 at 9:30 am.
