Kabbalat Shabbat Services Led by Beth El’s Second and Third Grade Students

Our Second and Third grade JLC and GOA students will help lead some of the prayers during the service. Afterwards, please join us for a congregational dinner. A Night of Comfort – Cooking and Packaging

Congregation Beth El is organizing our first Night of Comfort, an evening of providing food, provisions, and dignity for the local homeless. We will be cooking and assembling care packages on April 4 and delivering in Newark on Saturday night, April 6. Children 7 years old and above are encouraged to attend with an adult. Join certified yoga instructor Merav Fine Braun, in a Shabbat yoga experience. Yoga is a spiritual practice, further understanding the holy vessels of our bodies and our relationship with the world. Shabbat Yoga uses the liturgy of our Shabbat service and the lessons and values of our tradition to set intention for this physical prayer experience. Come dressed casually. Yoga mats will be provided.
